Flange Lookup Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 26, 2026

1. Data sent by the App

Flange Lookup is designed to operate offline. The App does not require an Appalachian Integrity account and does not transmit your searches, viewed values, app activity or the settings described below to Appalachian Integrity LLC (the Company). The App contains no advertising, analytics, tracking or third-party crash-reporting SDK.

This section concerns data transmitted by the App. The store through which you obtain the App separately processes store, account, transaction, device and usage information under its own terms and privacy policy, as described in § 5.

2. Information stored on the device

The App stores these items in local app storage:

  1. Your unit preference (inch or metric), so the tables use the units you last selected;
  2. A version-specific record that you accepted the first-run terms and reference-only notice, so the same version is not shown on every launch; and
  3. If your installed version includes the optional code-book import feature described in § 3 and you use it, the numbers it reads from your own file.

The App does not send these values to the Company, and the Company cannot access them. Device operating systems, manufacturers and backup services may apply their own backup, transfer and storage settings and policies.

Clearing the App's storage removes the active local copy on that device and returns the App to its first-run state.

3. Optional code-book import

Some versions of the App include an optional feature that lets you import your own licensed copy of the governing standard. Check the About tab in your installed version to see whether this feature is present. Where it is not present, the App has no code-book-import feature and the rest of this section does not apply. Where it is present: if you choose to import a copy of the governing standard you own, the app opens the file you pick with the device's own file picker, reads it on your device, and stores the numbers it finds in the app's private storage on that device. The app does not keep the file, does not upload or transmit it or the numbers, does not share them with us or anyone, and does not use them for analytics, advertising or training of any kind. We never receive them. You can delete the imported numbers from the "Your copy of the code book" card on the About tab, and uninstalling the app deletes them. The app's content-security policy allows no network connections other than loading its own files.

4. No app analytics, ads or tracking

The App makes no calls to the Company or another party. It loads its operating content from files bundled with the App. It contains no advertising, analytics or tracking SDK and does not use an advertising identifier.

5. Store transactions and information

When you obtain, rate, review or seek support for the App through a Store, the Store provider processes information under its own terms and privacy policy. The Store provider may make order and sales information available to the Company, including an order identifier, transaction date and status, app or product information, amount, currency, taxes and fees, device model, country and, where available, city, state or postal code. The Store provider's order tools may make a buyer email address available for order lookup or support. The Company does not receive your full payment-card number through the App. The Store provider may also provide aggregated store, install, performance, rating, review and sales information.

The Company uses Store information it controls only to administer purchases, refunds and chargebacks; respond to support; prevent fraud; maintain accounting, tax and legal records; and understand aggregate Store performance. The Company does not sell this information, use it for targeted advertising or create advertising profiles from it.

The App is an offline reference app and does not send Store-account or payment information to the Company; the Company does not receive full payment-card details.

If you email the Company, it receives your email address, message and any information or attachment you choose to include. A public review posted through a Store is visible under that Store's rules and may display the name or profile information associated with the account used there.

Store providers retain information they control under their respective policies. The Company retains a copy it controls only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes above and as required for tax, accounting, refund, chargeback, fraud-prevention or legal obligations. Access to Store merchant and financial information is limited to authorized account users, and exported records must be protected according to Company policy.

6. Children

Flange Lookup is intended for industrial and professional reference and is not directed to children under 13. The App itself does not ask for or transmit personal information. Store providers handle purchases under their own policies. If you believe a child sent information directly to the Company, contact the Company so it can review and, where appropriate, delete it.

7. Your choices

The App creates no Appalachian Integrity account to delete. You can clear local preferences, the acceptance record and any imported code-book numbers through the device's app-storage settings or by removing and reinstalling the App.

For information controlled by a Store provider, use the applicable account and privacy tools or contact that provider. You may contact the Company about an order or support record in its control. The Company will address an applicable access, correction or deletion request after appropriate identity verification, subject to records it must retain for tax, accounting, fraud, refund, chargeback or legal purposes. The Company cannot alter or delete a record controlled by a Store provider.

8. Changes to this policy

The Company may update this policy if the App or Store-data practices change. It will update the effective date and, where required, provide additional notice through the App, the applicable Store listing or another appropriate channel. A material change to the App's handling of data will be presented in an app update and will require the acceptance process applicable to that version.
